The structure and shape of yarn are diverse.

Monofilament: Refers to a single continuous filament of very long length.
Multifilament: Refers to a bundle of two or more monofilaments combined together.
Twisted yarn: Yarn formed by twisting multifilament.
Composite twisted yarn: Composite twisted yarn is formed by combining and twisting twisted yarn once or multiple times.
Deformed yarn: Chemical fiber raw yarn processed to have appearance characteristics such as curls, spirals, and loops. Based on performance characteristics, it usually includes elastic yarn, bulk yarn, and network yarn.
Single yarn: A continuous strip formed by spinning short fibers.
Ply yarn: Formed by combining and twisting two or more single yarns. If formed by two single yarns, it is called double ply yarn; if three or more, it is called multi-ply yarn. Further combining and twisting ply yarn results in twisted ply yarn.
Fancy yarn: Made using special processes, it has special appearance forms and colors, including patterned yarn and decorative yarn. It is formed by twisting core yarn, decorative yarn, and solid yarn on a fancy twisting machine, with surface characteristics such as fiber knots, bamboo segments, loops, braids, spirals, and waves.
Bulk yarn: Bulk yarn is processed from polypropylene fiber utilizing its thermal shrinkage (thermoplasticity), resulting in a soft and fluffy yarn.
Core-spun yarn: Yarn formed with long filaments or short fiber yarn as the core, wrapped with other fibers or yarns.
